Monroeville Convention Consumer Shows
More than 100,000 square feet of exhibition space, in an instantly accessible location just outside of Pittsburgh, makes Monroeville Convention and Events Center an exceptional venue for consumer shows. Ticketing and registration setups, onsite audiovisual services, water hook-ups, concession stands and catering, and trained security staff help large-scale events run flawlessly from planning through to execution.

AV & Technology

Audiovisual at Monroeville Convention and Events Center can be arranged through PSAV. PSAV services include microphones, speakers, mixers, lighting, projectors/screens/monitors and dedicated technician support.Wi-Fi is available throughout the building at $9.95 per connection, per day. Show promoters can order at bulk rates. Wired internet and custom network solutions are also available, including static IP addresses, and variable bandwidth capacities.

Tickets & Registration

The convention center allows for the setup of portable ticket booths with heat and AC outside either hall, and portable, high-countered registration desks, available to be placed inside either hall according to your floor plan needs. The center offers two fixed ticket offices outside of the North Hall.
 

Water Hook-Ups & Drainage

Drainage and water hook-ups are available in select locations throughout the space. Please discuss with your sales or convention services contact to evaluate your needs. Our staff is happy to work with you to accommodate your necessary requirements and help lay out your floor plan accordingly.

Loading Dock

Monroeville Convention Concession Stand
The convention center offers a loading dock with three bay doors and a drive up ramp that accommodates tractor trailers. Parking of personal RV's overnight is not permitted, to allow for spaces closer to entrances for attendees and guests, and due to our partnership with the DoubleTree hotel.
 
Please keep in mind the dimensions of dock door for your convenience which are 16' wide by 13'10 high.
 

Concession Stand

Our 1,150 square foot concession kitchen is run by our culinary and service staffs and offers a full range of quick-service items. Kitchen facilities can be rented upon request for food shows, and a kitchen usage fee will be assessed according to the scope of your needs. Our concession space must be secured in advance, and seating for concessions are set according to your event's floor plan designation.

Electrical

Generous placement of electrical hookups are available for standard (110V/20 AMP) and heavy electric (208V/30 AMP) lines. There is standard electric on each pillar and heavy electric on every other pillar. Additional heavy electric can be run from designated wall connection locations or to portable boxes.
 

Marketing Assistance

Convention shows can benefit from extra promotion assistance with listings on the our website calendar, marketing e-blasts, signage on the convention center building and along PA Route 22, as well as promotional posts on DoubleTree hotel's and the convention center's social media outlets.

Shuttles & Parking

The convention center grants complimentary parking onsite and at the adjacent DoubleTree hotel as well as overflow parking at Monroeville Mall. Complimentary and low-cost shuttle options are available as well as other support from Visit Monroeville. See the Visit Monroeville website.

Security

The convention center and DoubleTree provide roving security personnel and our management staff is trained in crowd control and emergency response. For a dedicated security team, please ask your sales or convention service planning contact for referrals to our preferred agencies. When both halls have been emptied for the night, the building is placed in lockdown, however arrangements can be made for your security staff to gain 24-hour access.
